Golf Tournament
for Kids - 2008
The 2008 Tourney
Thursday,
July 3, 2008
Heritage Pointe Golf Club
DeWinton, AB
In the third year of the tournament, we raised over $200,000 for a three-year cumulative total of almost half a million dollars. Funds are split between the Jim Prentice and the Stephen Ames charitable foundations for distribution to kids to need, such as the Society for Treatment of Autism, the CJAY 92 Kids Fund, and the Children's Cottage. This year, we moved to a large 27-hole tournament with over 200 golfers, and Stephen Ames held a well-received clinic for the golfers.
Stay tuned for details about next year's tournament.
Thanks Calgarians, for you generous support of kids in need!
